Qwen Code is an open-source coding agent that runs in the terminal. It can understand a project, edit files, execute commands, debug, and automate work while supporting MCP, scripted invocation, and IDE diff review. The client is open source, but model access still requires a Coding Plan, API key, third-party provider, or local inference; the former Qwen OAuth free tier has ended.
